Antique Hand-Carved Root Head Coot Decoy

A wonderful and rare primitive hand carved Root Head Coot decoy from North Carolina with the best character and patina. Look at his sweet little head and neck! In excellent antique condition. The bottom has a piece of wood called a keel, used to provide a place for anchorline attachment and keep the decoy pointed into the wind. If the decoy is to be placed on a flat surface, two little stones (or other small flat objects) will easily set it right. (Two little stones included to get you started.)

Measurements: 11”W x 6”H x 4”D
