A pink lover’s delight, this graphic star quilt is made of a joyful shade of bubblegum pink against a crisp white
Notice the “reverse” colorway of this two-tone quilt with the pink as the background color and the white as the accent color
The way the pattern in the quilt block blends into the sashing gives it a wonderful optical illusion
Little four-petal flowers are quilted into the small white squares between the blocks
Maker/origin unknown
Washed by hand and in great condition for her age with just a bit of fading to a couple places, a couple very light negligible marks, and one small open seam along the trim (see last photo)
Measurements: 83” x 87”

Note on antique/vintage quilts: Many of the quilts we sell have been loved, slept under, washed, sunshine dried, taken on picnics, slept on underneath the stars, and lived lifetimes before arriving at our doorstep. You can expect to see repairs made by later generations, fraying around the edges or in certain blocks, discoloration or yellowing, cotton/wool batting—or as we like to call them, tiny sheep—peeking through. They are imperfect, but their imperfections are charming to us and we hope you feel the same. They are reminders to us of their old age and the history to which they've been a witness.
