A breathtaking strippy quilt made with the most iconic 19th century jewel tones — thin strips of red, lancaster blue, cinammon pink, chrome yellow and overdyed green meticulously pieced together
The colors against the verdant overdyed green background are reminiscent of a flowery meadow on a summer day
A reversible quilt! The back of the quilt is made of gorgeous wide bars of red and green.
Densely quilted in a diamond grid
Maker/origin unknown
Washed by hand and in great condition, with just a couple areas with light residual staining, not dark at all but slightly more visible on back. See last photo (appears more noticeable in photo that in real life).
Measurements: 74” x 83”

Note on antique/vintage quilts: Many of the quilts we sell have been loved, slept under, washed, sunshine dried, taken on picnics, slept on underneath the stars, and lived lifetimes before arriving at our doorstep.
