Celebrating the joy of a hummingbird sighting

Provenance/Notes:
Bursting with little bits of color, like birthday confetti, this wonderful Hummingbird quilt is made of a fabulous assortment of 1930-1940s fabrics, scattered throughout her blocks
There are 208 Hummingbird blocks in this quilt, each 5” square
This is a soft and cozy quilt, lovely to the touch
Maker/origin unknown
Washed by hand in great overall condition with just a few tiny stains and a couple places with a smidge of pink color transfer from a couple of the fabrics (nothing glaring, see last photo)
Measurements: 66” x 81”

Note on antique/vintage quilts: Many of the quilts we sell have been loved, slept under, washed, sunshine dried, taken on picnics, slept on underneath the stars, and lived lifetimes before arriving at our doorstep.
