Pattern: Goose in the Pond, radiating variation

Details:
a stunning and unique variation on the Goose in the Pond the quilt block that radiates from the center
the diamond frames surrounding the center are made of triangular blocks with small, crisply pieced triangles in a beautiful variety of fabrics, much like Ocean Waves blocks
these triangular blocks are turned to create a zig-zag effect along the longer edges
notice the two similar but slightly different black-and-red checked fabrics used in the center
the quilting is phenomenal, with triple-line quilting radiating in all directions
finished with a lovely double-pink trim
washed by hand and in very good condition, with just a few little brown triangles showing a touch of wear and one blue fabric — used in two of the smaller edge blocks — showing some color transfer with a watercolor-like effect, and a touch of residual discoloration in a couple of the lighter areas (quite negligible)
