Holly Log Cabin Quilt

$0.00
sold

What a special collection of fabrics in this beautiful quilt made in a Barn Raising Log Cabin pattern, made with an incredible variety of white and cream calico fabrics, mingled with a wide assortment of browns. Take a look at the close images of the fabrics used on the double frame. What really pops is the overdyed green and red accents which gives this quilt a wonderful wintry, holiday feel. Another special part of this quilt is the black fabric on the back speckled with white and yellow. This quilt has been washed by hand and is soft and cozy and in very good condition for her age, with just a small handful of the brown logs showing wear (take a look where you can see indigo fabric under one of the browns!) and a bit of weakness in a few others browns. (Many 19th century browns are known for being weakened by the dyes that were used to create them). She is a wonderful quilt to be loved and enjoyed for a long time to come and will certainly have a special place in your collection.

Measurements: 72.5” x 72.5”

$20 flat rate shipping includes insurance coverage for the full purchase amount. Price for smaller items have been adjusted (lowered) to account for the lower shipping cost.

International customers: If you enter a shipping address outside of the US, you will not be charged for shipping upon checkout. A separate invoice will be sent once shipping is calculated. If you need a shipping estimate, please reach out ahead of time. Tax will be added only to Virginia state orders. Orders shipped to destinations outside of Virginia are not taxed.

All quilts come with a muslin tag noting any known history, and an archival Micron pen for you to add yours.

15% of profits from this sale will go towards Tubman, a non-profit based in the Twin Cities (MN) that serves the community by providing safe shelter, legal services, mental and chemical health counseling, youth programming, and community education. For more, see Tubman.org
