What a breathtaking iteration of the Ocean Waves pattern, with checkers and ginghams galore!
Dozens upon dozens of half-square triangles undulate across the surface in a beautiful palette of indigos and blues— soft chambray, rich indigo prints, and everything in between — all set against a checkered and dotted red.
True to the name of the quilt pattern, the movement across this quilt really does feel like water catching light at different angles.
The back is a lovely homespun blue plaid with just the perfect amount of fading.
This is a substantial medium weight quilt with a lovely hand, making it a perfect companion through every season.
Maker/origin unknown
Washed by hand and in great condition with the sweetest hand-stitched repair and just a bit of fading in places on the back. See last two photos.
