Autumn Dusk Capital T Quilt

$645.00
sold

No two blocks on this gorgeous quilt were made alike, and each is worthy of a frame. They were constructed in a captivating color palette of browns, pinks, and sky blues that conjure up a walk through an autumn forest at dusk. Notice the fabric used for the trim — a delightful brown stripe. Her latest home was the Ames Gallery in California, which closed its doors a couple years ago, and she is now ready to be treasured by a new owner. She has been washed and is in excellent condition with just a few small places of mysterious color transfer (which don’t stand out because of the warm pink fabric) and a couple small hidden stains. Some fold staining on back. (See photos.) A stunning 19th century quilt to add richness to your home!

Measurements: 81.5” x 83”

$20 flat rate shipping includes insurance coverage for the full purchase amount. Price for smaller items have been adjusted (lowered) to account for the lower shipping cost.

International customers: If you enter a shipping address outside of the US, you will not be charged for shipping upon checkout. A separate invoice will be sent once shipping is calculated. If you need a shipping estimate, please reach out ahead of time. Tax will be added only to Virginia state orders. Orders shipped to destinations outside of Virginia are not taxed.

All quilts come with a muslin tag noting any known history, and an archival Micron pen for you to add yours.

15% of profits from this sale will go towards Tubman, a non-profit based in the Twin Cities (MN) that serves the community by providing safe shelter, legal services, mental and chemical health counseling, youth programming, and community education. For more, see Tubman.org
