Red and Indigo Bowtie Quilt

Provenance/Notes:
A beautiful iteration of the Bowtie pattern using a color palette of indigos, reds, and sandy florals, with a scrappy distribution of indigo calicos and a couple pops of blue chambray and black
A wonderful quilt for summer that will bring a classic American color palette to your space, reminiscent of a day by the shore
Framed by a beautiful red fabric and backed in a natural muslin
Maker and origin unknown
Washed by hand and in good condition with a few very light residual stains and a bit of light dye migration from the two black bowties. Some of the small white prints in about 10-12 of the red bowties have worn away, but are still very well held together by the surrounding red fabric. See last photo.
Measurements: 73” x 82”

Note on antique/vintage quilts: Many of the quilts we sell have been loved, slept under, washed, sunshine dried, taken on picnics, slept on underneath the stars, and lived lifetimes before arriving at our doorstep.
