Details:
a masterpiece of quilting and piecing, in a classic red, white, and blue colorway
the graphic pattern of triangles is softened by the intricately executed arcs of feathered half-wreaths quilted into the white spaces
notice the beautiful piecing with all the sharp points on over 650 little red triangles
framed by a sawtooth border that gives the quilt a polished touch
the marine blue and soft red are bright yet soft in tone, and conjure a day by the sea
soft and drapey
washed by hand and in excellent condition with just one tiny hole (likely a dot of rust) and a couple marks on back (see last photo)

Note on antique/vintage quilts: Many of the quilts we sell have been loved, slept under, washed, sunshine dried, taken on picnics, slept on underneath the stars, and lived lifetimes before arriving at our doorstep.
