Scrapbox Four Patch Quilt
Pattern: Four Patch

Provenance/Notes:
A summer beauty! A mix of indigos creates the primary palette for this quilt, punctuated by blacks and reds, and alternating with a variety of white calicos and shirtings.
Notice the warmer sandy floral squares which pop along the edges against the cool blues
There is beautiful order within the scrappy mix of this quilt once you see each of the four patches the quilter pieced together.
A thin indigo trim has been applied by hand around the edges
A comfy, cozy quilt that is light yet has a touch of heft
Maker/origin unknown
Washed by hand and in excellent condition; just some very light discoloration on the back (see last photo)
Measurements: 68” x 80”

Note on antique/vintage quilts: Many of the quilts we sell have been loved, slept under, washed, sunshine dried, taken on picnics, slept on underneath the stars, and lived lifetimes before arriving at our doorstep.
