Pattern: Irregular Rectangular One-Patch

Provenance/Notes:
An incredibly beautiful collection of fabrics — most of them shirtings in ginghams and stripes— are patched together and quilted in this beautiful piece
The varying sizes of the rectangles and squares — likely due to the amount of fabric available to the quilter — give this quilt a charming scrappy quality
A wide, soft blue chambray border creates a lovely frame
A soft and cozy quilt
Maker and origin unknown
Washed by hand and in excellent condition with just a light line of fading in one corner of the quilt where the quilt was likely exposed to sun for an extended period (see last photo)

Note on antique/vintage quilts: Many of the quilts we sell have been loved, slept under, washed, sunshine dried, taken on picnics, slept on underneath the stars, and lived lifetimes before arriving at our doorstep.
