Springtime Duck Paddle Quilt
Pattern: Duck Paddle
Date: c. 1870-1880
Provenance/Notes:
A wonderful assortment of 19th century fabrics, reminiscent of an early spring garden
Expertly pieced in small scale Duck Paddle blocks
Cable quilting in and around each block which gives the quilt a lovely texture
Hails from Eastern Pennsylvania, maker/origin unknown
Washed by hand, and in great condition, with just a few shadows of residual stains, and one block with a very light touch of dye migration (see last photo) and some overall fading.
Measurements: 73.5” x 82.5”
$20 flat rate shipping includes insurance coverage for the full purchase amount. Price for smaller items have been adjusted (lowered) to account for the lower shipping cost.
