Sugar Sack Hexagon Postage Stamp Quilt

$0.00
sold

It’s hard to beat a quilt made of tiny scrappy pieces, especially when it has been made from a deep stash of 1930s and 40s sugar sack prints. Like a colorful jar full of candy, this quilt is a delight to the eyes. Over 3,400 hexagons, each with sides smaller than an inch, were lovingly pieced together. A nice layer of batting fills the middle for warmth and makes her substantial to the touch. This quilt is a great everyday piece to use and enjoy and is in very good overall condition with just 5-6 hexagons that have wear (simple mends if desired) and a few that have had a little color transfer to the back of the quilt (see last photo). She has been washed by hand and is ready to become someone’s favorite quilt.

Measurements: 72” x 72”

$20 flat rate shipping includes insurance coverage for the full purchase amount. Price for smaller items have been adjusted (lowered) to account for the lower shipping cost.
