Provenance/Notes:
A gorgeous quilt made in the pretty Whippoorwhill pattern, each one filled with a whimsical, scrappy selection of prints that include many repurposed feedsack fabrics
The apricot print fabric used in the background gives the quilt a warm glow and provides a lovely contrast to many of the cool blue tones used in the blocks
Notice the beautiful four petal quilting in the apricot blocks
A thin quilt, perfect for the warmer months
Maker and origin unknown
Washed by hand and in excellent condition, with just one tiny light residual mark (see last photo)
Measurements: 72” x 89”

Note on antique/vintage quilts: Many of the quilts we sell have been loved, slept under, washed, sunshine dried, taken on picnics, slept on underneath the stars, and lived lifetimes before arriving at our doorstep. You can expect to see repairs made by later generations, fraying around the edges or in certain blocks, discoloration or yellowing, cotton/wool batting—or as we like to call them, tiny sheep—peeking through.
